An emotional house-hold Lightening Design

(BA) Industrial Design Graduate Work 2013-2014

This is a set of lights, main light and little lamp, based on emotional design, focusing on user experience design; people reflect inner feelings in interaction with the product. Natural, quiet, Zen design elements into LED lighting product designs, not only the heritage of Chinese traditional culture, giving a feeling of return to natural, return home to people. Use natural materials of wood combined with other materials, plus the advantages of LED lighting products are energy saving, insisted sustainable development strategy to achieve harmony between man and nature. Finally, to achieve the highest level of spiritual reflection: the return of our common home.

Harmony

National Top 35 in 8th Vatti Industrial Design Competition, 2013

“Harmony” is an innovative concept design for movable kitchen to let 2 people have more space working in the kitchen. I was inspired by my parents' cooking in a small kitchen and they were always blamed for each other. This design breaks the limit of traditional kitchen pattern. When one use it, he can place it on one side. When two people use it, the movable part can be place in the middle, thus, there will have enough space for both two people. Moreover, raw food and dishes can be placed on the movable part conveniently. This project unanimously got great appraisal of the Evaluation Committee and I was nominated for the national top 35 participants.

Some people now are fond of listening pop music wherever they are. On the other hand, it is easy to be stolen if putting your phone in your pocket. And, how about a phone without screen?

Moreover, technology is becoming popular nowadays analog keyboard, combined with the infrared and headphones, we can put their hands anywhere as mobile screen, or any plane, such as, walls, newspapers, etc. as a large screen for mobile phone all the features.
